by The Editors on August 1, 2008

Tws July91 Small02The skateboarding world suffered a huge loss this morning as former Bones Brigade member and Eastern Skate Supply Art Director Ray Underhill died after a long battle with a chordoma brain tumor, according to an email sent out this morning at 9 AM PST by his long-time friend Sean Mortimer. “Ray passed away a few hours ago in North Carolina,” he said.

Our thoughts are with Ray’s wife Kerry and especially with his two children Keaton and Olivia. They have been extremely brave and strong over the past two years and Ray was blessed to have been so well loved by them all.

What’s up with a vert or bowl series on the east coast in his name to raise awareness in his legacy…
There never is a good time to loose a Father, husband or Friend. He will be remembered and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
